MickyB 327
making nets for next season using hemp at the minute but wondered if theres a better material? Quote Link to post
MikeTheDog 153
There's all kinds of nylon available for net making and it won't need double knotting either! Hemp's good but you will need to make sure your nets are dry before you stash them away for your next rip or they will rot. Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Spun poly In anyone of a number of ridiculous colors Quote Link to post
The one 8,481
If your happy with hemp nets theres nothing wrong they requires a bit more more work but you should look after your gear , Spun nylon will make your life easier and all the colours mean only a idiot would loose a net . Jingo 6
just started making nets myself and used spun poly, single nots, no slipping and its strong stuff. Hemp is fine if ya want a traditional net but why make stuff harder than it is (and more expensive) Quote Link to post
