Leeview 791
i wouldnt do ratting with my ferrets.a rat will do its best to bolt, but if it gets cornerd it will fight back and can do harm to your ferret.if you are going to ferret rats you would be better of to use a strong buck in my experience of cornered rats in buildings they're usually head first in the corner arse out and others will pile on top of them Y.I.S Leeview yer they clean the wounds but yer cant always win ye never no what damage is done inside and in a build the rat does put it bum out but in a hole IF THE FERRET IS ENTERED THE RAT WILL LOOK FOR A SAFE SPOT SO LIKE A STOP END AND IT WILL TURN AROUND AND FACE OUT AND IF YOUR FERRET GOES IN IT WILL GET HURT AND IT CAN END FATAL but ive found the hobs turn away from trouble and most jills will fight just my experience tbh everyone has different views and opinions if a rats looking for a safe spot it will bolt out of the place How do you know what happens underground? And have nt you bolted rats whilst rabbiting? Did your ferrets cope with them or flee from these backed up rats? Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post
