markha 99
Bloody hell you must be bored! Edited: you realy have come over from the dog section!! set up a big target with a cross on it about 10m away, aim at cross, shoot 3 shots. if pellets are low wind the top turret anti-clockwise a bit. If the shots are to the left, wind the windage turret anti-clockwise a bit. If its the other way round ie right and high, then wind the turrets clockwise. Keep repeating untill your shots are spot on. Then move your target out to 25m and do the same thing again. Try and do this whilst shooting from a stable position, but if its a spring powered gun you have make sure you do not rest it directly on a solid surface as it wil send your shots all over the place. If its a PCP rifle then theres no problem. Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
To add onto what Mark has said, it may be necessary for you to shim the mounts to gain enough adjustment Have a look here for more useful info... http://www.arld1.com/scopemountingsetting.html Darryl Quote Link to post
stubby 175
also, only make adjustments one at a time, ie get the vertical sorted before horizontal, dont try winding them both at the same time Quote Link to post
