wirral countryman 2,110
I once lamped my russell bitch,13"tts,used to bush plenty with her in the daytime as well, but she was quite leggy and quick, she happened to be in the van as we'd been out in the daytime,on the way home we thought we'd try my pup on a good rabbit field, the pup was 14 months old and had'nt seen much up to that point, she was a saluki/greyhound first cross but just could not see the rabbits,so my brother held the lurcher on slip whilst I got the terrier out the van,I walked up the rabbits till close and dropped her to run them, she caught 3 out of 5 runs on her own,the lurcher never showed any interest in running anything day or night and was given away to a pet home, the whole thing was videoed by my other mate and is put on when I take the p*ss out lads struggling to catch bunnies with their big lurcher's,it was a laugh but not something you could do regular as it takes a lot out of the terrier, atb, wirralman Quote Link to post
