.terrier man. 193
some dogs take longer to mature than others, one of the dogs i dig too wasnt intrested in going to ground at all up until he was 2 an half we used to call him dafydd the gay terrier and laughing about getting him a pink collar, then when his bollaks dropped he flew and is probaly the hardest dog we dig too now, Quote Link to post
Terrier Sam 297
I hunt with a guy regularly over the winter who point blank refuses to pay much - if anything, for his dogs and when he's after another dog (if there is no one locally with pups) looks through the 'free to good home' ads in papers etc. and has had some little crackers. He's had one that was around 3 and was 100% pet material but worked his socks off below ground. This isn't my opinion - i'd prefer to spend and get a good dog from workin lines. I'm just sayin that it's possible that dogs from all different backgrounds and ages may work given the opertunity Sam Quote Link to post
