Ideation 8,216
Can any one tell me the main differences between these two rifles and weather the s410 is worth the difference in price tag? Cheers, Jai. Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
s440 = single shot s410 = multi shot you can convert an s400 to multi shot ( rowan engineering) but the mag dosnt index automaticaly.......you have to thumb it round maunaly. not sure of the price difference.........but i would choose a multishot for hunting Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Didn't realise that was the difference, no choice really them, but it's a fair jump in price for multi shot capability! I shouldered a few guns today and quite fancied the ss410 in carbine. Quote Link to post

Buster321c 1,010
The S410k is a cracking bit of kit . I have one , a BTAS regged one , that has about 120 shot before any loss of power . Obviously as its regged , there is no power curve , and it really is my favorite rifle . Being a carbine , its nice to use from the car , and easy to carry about . As said before , the Rowan Multi shot mag is a great addition to any 400 series , but if your going to be lamping then its just the loading in the dark thats a pain in the arse . That said , if you take up FT/HFT the 400 is the favoured gun as you have `unload` the mag between each shot on an S410 , so the single shot wins there . The Rowan Multi shot http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/183376-rowan-multi-shot-mags/page__p__1855122__fromsearch__1#entry1855122 Either way , great choise , im sure you`ll be pleased .
