CWN-HELA 228
I think I would find it very difficult to watch these cubs grow up and then when September comes go out and kill them, doesn,t sit right with me, bit of a dilemma well i dont sit there and watch them play and think they are lovely... and if i do go and kill the cubs and vixen now, when september comes ill be walking round and nothing there..every 1 for there own and how they want to do it and the end off the day. scothunter 12,609
A few years ago i wouldnt have hesitated in dispatching them, but i wouldnt now guess u do mellow in yor latter years.no probs in killing an adult fox at all,but cubs no.having said that if they are a danger to your livestock then you must put that at the top of your agenda.if not id leave them be.hey if you can snap a few pics and post them up mate Mellow in old age, yes you do, i daily see foxes and badgers at play, i get that close to one badger on my permission , i can smell the bugger, theres more to this hunting lark for me than killing, i now am just happy at my mellow age, i can still get out there and enjoy totally agree like this time of the year seeing all the new life in the countryside. If everyone killed everything they came across when out and about, well it would be a prettty grim boring walk.Yea there loads of badgers around my area.prob to bloody many but its good to see them all the same.actually saw a roe today at lunchtime not 200yards from my house never saw one there before.i think it was a fluke and it was a bit distressed running the fence line at the railway trying to get over.
