the_stig 6,614
has a date been comfirmed for the fight yet lads 2nd july ...
blan89 159
its not just about size imo, haye cannot stay away from wlad and when he inevitably starts to take real punishment how long will he last? yes wlads a big man but hes not a slow and clumsy fighter like valuev he's a good all round boxer who's one downfall is his chin, but i think its very unlikely Haye will reach Wlads chin before Wlad reaches Hayes,Wlads got the tools out box and even knockout Haye without ever taking any real risks. the_stig 6,614
haye is in for a fukin hiding, too small for a heavyweight champion Tyson was 5 ft 11 1/2 and 15 stone...........I recall he was quite a handy heavyweight champ the klitschko boys are about three stone heavyer than haye, heel be on his arss in three rounds. tyson was just a freak mate. tyson was no freak mate -- awesome power and learnt/was taught how to use it ...his downfall was caused by himself if the right people had been behind him he would have been a true great ... i`m not a big haye fan but one thing he`s got is heart .. Irish Lurcher 1,013
I dont think we will see a huge upset here, haye to loss, cant see him beating him, who has haye fought of any note...... Different class of fighter here in Klitschko, take the Klitsch away from his name and you are left with KO, haye beware.

diggory 130
haye cant get past klitchkos jab, loses heart in the later rounds after taking a lot of punisnment....klitchko late stoppage imo
gnasher16 30,437
I think this is actually going to be a really interesting fight.Neither of them can take a good shot Klitchko has been down something like 10 times in his career, many times from fighters without half the punch Haye has got,but then Haye doesnt have the best chin either which makes for an interesting fight.I feel Haye needs to come out very aggressive without being careless,if he gets into a chess match i think this could be where we see what in my opinion is Hayes biggest flaw, his trainer !....Haye has stuck with Adam Booth which although loyal is not good for his boxing career he should of gone with one of the established trainers ages ago,if this fight starts to go against Haye and he has to adapt and change styles/plans i have my doubts that Booth has the knowledge and certainly not experience to get Haye over the line in a tactical battle. Haye is a sharp crisp and concussive puncher from different angles,Klitchko is a methodical, big strong robot.....how great it is to see a heavyweight title fight between 2 good athletes again, its good for boxing in general. Malt 379
Much as I'd like to see a British fighter unite the belts, it wouldn't bother me seeing Haye knocked out. He's a good boxer, but he's got no class. I know the done thing is to talk yourself up a bit, but there's no need to talk about decapitating your opponent, etc. It a bit like when Tyson threatened to eat Lewis's kids.. No need. Just look at how Manny Pacquiao conducts himself in the lead up to a fight. Classy & talented..

Difference is Manny Paquiaos fights sell themself,David Hayes dont.....its all bollocks to hype and sell the fight mate, dont take it too serious.Klitchkos doing the same calling him a poof etc.....I blame pay per view tv myself....years ago a fighter just had to be a good fighter to get the big fights, nowadays its just as important to be a " colourful character ".....just look at Ricky Hatton and how he worked so hard on his image.....that said,i dont think Tyson did it to sell a fight he actually meant it....but then he was a strange one i spose Edited May 11, 2011 by gnasher16
