i would`nt have pulled the feathers ffs -- build some sort of flight avery so they can see out - starve em for a couple of days before you let them out .. other than that breed off the older birds in a seperate shed and stock the kit box with young birds ... Edited by the_stig

starve them is the way forward when settling birds ,1 bit of corn in the shed or box and they should be allover it wings back ,play about with them with the corn do this for about a week you don,t want them flying just pottering them about another good way is droppers ,featherfeet tumblers it easy 2 settle rollers if you do it proberly ,tipplers thats another story

breeding is a fool proof way to hant pigeons to a new yard

 they`ll come back to eggs or young -- the feathers should start to come back in 2-3 weeks -- but wont help in breaking the birds better ways to do imo and a pointless operation ..

personally i would get a few tumblers feather feet ,do the same starve them and get them settled 2 your kit box ,if you had another shed 2 breed in get them in a let them pair up and you be flying your own young in no time ,its not easy settleing birds if their no other birds settled ,well with you pulling their flight feathers you proberly messed bout with the natural mould so they might take a while 2 fly proberly ,get them down on young thtsthe best thing

yes get some hens in a breed your own ,see what happens birds moult in the seasons and they lose a flight and another grows in its place ,i use 2 trick my racers and dark them of ,so they thought it was winter with dark night but realy its summer so they would trought the moult quicker for raceing ,i would have 2 race team darkers and naturals ,i would use the darkers for the first half of the season then the natural for the last half you could do this with yours if you wanted ,but i would just get some hens in ,let me know how you get on,atb, gaz
