Run_Rabbit85 8 Posted May 10, 2011 Report Share Posted May 10, 2011 i use 6-10mm ball bearings depending on what im shooting ie: 6mm for starlings ect.... and upto 10mm for wood pigeons,rabbits ect also marbles are the dogs bo**ox to. its trial and error tbh mate and the distance you are shooting long range i prefer steel balls due to the weight and marbles for close range hope this helps fellow catty shooter Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Its just for rabbits, squirrels, crows, pigeons, magpie, nothing big. Sounds like marbles might be the way forward then? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Marbles are good for short range shooting no doubt but having a selection of steel balls allow you more shots and at greater range with higher impact due to been solid steel and heavier = high kill tally............. what you guys firing?
