I do a lot of fishing mainly trout and salmon and have a pile of fish in the freezer and will be getting a lot of makerel soon. Never fed fresh fish to my dogs do any of yous feed fresh fish to them? Sprats are ideal, when i get them of the beach in the summer I bag and freeze them, then feed on and off over the year. I also have fed whole mackerel head and all. oggy808 24 Posted May 10, 2011 Report Share Posted May 10, 2011 hi i used to work in fish prosessing plant (small shed on farm) they had on order cancled because of a test result wrong and we fed it to our pack of beagles till we had some skin probs spoke to vet he said it happens when fed too much fish !!!!
