scothunter 12,609
when i kept the greyhounds i often injected them with b12 and other multi vitamins, but being this is prob the most important injection a dog will ever have to get.i feel better if its administered by the local vet.dont get booster injections i think thats jut a con. j316 119
its not illegal to inject your own dog
Top Lamper 2k10 169
I thought It was got it rong then the vets telt me never to buy them off any just them but ignore them lyk
DottyDoo 500
think way kitchen jabs is ye never can be sure where its been stored till you get it.... if ye know a reliable source an dont mind doing them, then by all means, if on other hand ye aint, take ot vets there is somne serious diffrence in prices among vets for jabs, so price should never be an excuse imo 1 vet near me charges 32 for 1st jab an same for 2nd, other vets not 12 miles away only charges 19 for 1st an 18 for 2nd, not a lot of money by anybodys standards........ Cold Ethyl 63
its not illegal to inject your own dog Oh yes it is know someone who got charged for it and i asked the sspca personally cos i was curious what the law is on self medicating and stitching etc and was told under no uncertain terms. You cannot medicate or close wounds on a dog unless your a qaulified vet.Especially as the medication in this case is licensed
Cold Ethyl 63
If i could do it myself legally i would as we get dogs here all the time and it would save me £50 a dog
