scothunter 12,609
ok i wanted fish for my tea tonight, now i normally get a slice of cod,but they hadnt got any so it was haddock but tbh it didnt look very appealing so i settled for a big slice of whiteing.I asked the wife in the store is whiting an actual fish she hadnt a clue.so thats my question.what is whiting?she says its just the same as haddock but cheaper lol is there such a fish as a whiteing? scothunter 12,609
ah does have that cod look about it.well be nice to try it now,as cod is my fav and be good to taste the comparrison.the price of cod is shocking these days, but i guess its a dangerous job those fishermen have.i never buy fish from the chippie in scotland you get a thin slice and the rest is batter.however always get a fish supper down in england when im there.always get a large thick slice of fish down there.we should adopt that up here.
