Lamping last night

We went back to my work and at 22.30 started in the bosses garden there where two when the first one fell the second one was bright enough to scarper ,a quick shine in the field he calls a back garden and saw another two but the minute the light hit them they hit the ground running . So back to the uni and we did a couple of circuts but the rabbits where thin on the ground till one am and then it was like schools out .I was lamping up a back road and a police car appeared at the top and im thinking here we go again we passed each other i turned at the top and he turned at the bottom passed each other again then i drew round a corner and parked up he stopped at the bottom of the road at my rear obviously to radio in my car for a check then he drew level with me and "Sir can you tell me what your doing here tonight " "shooting the rabbits job number 1122 " thats fine sir they dont tell us these things .I replied its fine its usually students or lrt bus drivers that call you and the armed response show see the rabbits say you have a few want a shot of the air rifles and say good night ..They then said we will leave you in peace sir enjoy your night but i had ,had enough and shot another one on the way out to make the total fifteen. Then as we were leaving a saw a white rabbit chasing another across the road and back again a put the light on him but he was a ginger and didnt want to play running along the bottom of the hedges ( must have been the street lamps that made him look lighter ? )

nowt like the rozzers turning up! i had the local copper chopper out last summer, that was a giggle...

Theres only two of us allowed to shoot there has been for years we had to do a risk assessment and get insurance when we phone for a job number they want ,Where you are ,name,who's with you ,car reg ,colour how long will you be ,and our control room has to phone back when i finish . my mates had the Armed Response out five times ive had them out four times . normal coppers tend no to faze us these days

Think weve all had the rozzers on our backs at some point, me and my mate dan have even had a pistol drawn on us at one point, needless to say my boxer shorts were of no use after that little "meeting" haha

Thats a cracker martin mate ive had a few funny coloured ones but never a pure white one ,but the students finish at the end of my nine day cycle and the place should be empty till september so i should get a few more
