bill88 6
Had the dog out a couple of day's ago,he did a bit and we came home. This morning he yelped when the kids were messing with him, after checking him over i found a puncture mark on him, around the front of his shoulder. There's no sign of blood or anything nasty,so i washed it and sprayed it with some iodine.Anyone had similar injuries with there terrier's? and how did you treat it?Bill Quote Link to post
skycat 6,174
If its not infected, then maybe the bone is bruised: is the hole right on the point of his shoulder, on the bone? If it is, then it'll take a while for the soreness to go. Just make sure and keep it open so it heals slowly from the inside. Quote Link to post

Some oral antibiotics along with the use of Dry Cow should do the trick. https://secure.wwlivestockproducts.com/cart...1668.113.57.222 Haggler Quote Link to post
