jack russel x patterdale

I can't see why the cross wouldn't work IF the sire and dam to the breeding were both workers. Some russell blood will bring the size down a bit if the fell is a bit large. And with any cross or breeding if none work, maybe you should look into the sire and dam more as individuals. all the best :thumbs:

i got one 18 months old . got him for a song , when we asked the chap what cross he was he told us he was jack with a patterdale , but to be honest i'm not 100 % sure. he is coming on ok tho with a bit of bushing and has had his first kill, so things are coming on ok so far . will try with pics

anyone operate this cross and could you recomend it for fox.

ive a first x russell pat ugly little dog but a very very good fox dog real dependable work 2 or 3 times a week with hounds durning the winter very good dog to find and stay until dug and ive bred a litter of patterdale russells bitch due sunday both parents worked and tried hard
