scottish carper ingram 40
a few locals tell me the fishing has went downhill since an influx of polish people to the estate although who were catching killing and cooking there fish on the bank, i was fishing the other day when i heard another anglers alarms goin, i went round and he had banked a mirror at 19lb, i returnee to my swim thinking he was going to get get pictures and return the fish but 20 minutes later i see 4 people arrive in his swim, he lifts the sack out the water and they walk away with the fish to stock a pond in there back garden which im gussing isnt big enough anyway, the guy in question is in talks with the council to become a ballif on the water, other than throwing him in what do u think i should do? Richard this is a council water were the fish run to 29lb its not the best venue but its a 2min walk from the house so its quite handy to get a few hours in if you know what i mean Quote Link to post

Richard this is a council water were the fish run to 29lb its not the best venue but its a 2min walk from the house so its quite handy to get a few hours in if you know what i mean The same with the lakes i mentioned, one was quite good for catching them off the top, i used to go there every sunday with the remainder of the weeks loaf and catch quite a few. To often people who'd been bivvied up for the weekend would be out fished by me in just a few hours. The fish only ran upto about 15lbs but off the top on light gear it was amazing fun. As they say all good things come to an end, this place wasnt like a complex its basically two small drainage pools on the side of a mountain so with no fencing or bailiffs it was poached by the polish community and there wasnt a fish left by the end of last summer. I havent been back since so i cant really say if they re-stocked and improved the place Richard Quote Link to post

scottish carper ingram 40
I know it's shit but i always chuckle at the number off folk who get f****d of about it, but themselves have a thing for nets or otter boars and trout i know what you mean mate. the water i fished up in scotand was a college loch stocked with common mirror silver and grass carp, tench, brown and rainbow trout, pike, roach and perch, there was a bot that was there 365 days a year that the locals got great pleasure out of using only when i was there haha plus it was drag netted atleast once a week so the college students could moniter the fish, dont think they ever get carp in the dragnet tho and i think if i see him again he will be getting wet Quote Link to post
