mackem 27,755
Matt Hayes is on TV at the moment,he has fished solid for 3 days and caught.............a one pound pike he has just said theres only three or four lakes in the entire country that dont allow fish to be taken for food, the lakes and rivers are stripped bare, the same is happening here,I walked a stretch of the mole last weekend and found a "swim" where polish(lager cans and food packaging indicated their ethnicity)had been fishing, messy f*ckers, they could at least have taken their rubbish with them and not snapped branches off to make rod-rests Quote Link to post

leegreen 2,221
I know it's shit but i always chuckle at the number off folk who get f****d of about it, but themselves have a thing for nets or otter boars and trout Too true it's been happening for many a year. a few locals tell me the fishing has went downhill since an influx of polish people to the estate although who were catching killing and cooking there fish on the bank, i was fishing the other day when i heard another anglers alarms goin, i went round and he had banked a mirror at 19lb, i returnee to my swim thinking he was going to get get pictures and return the fish but 20 minutes later i see 4 people arrive in his swim, he lifts the sack out the water and they walk away with the fish to stock a pond in there back garden which im gussing isnt big enough anyway, the guy in question is in talks with the council to become a ballif on the water, other than throwing him in what do u think i should do? aint just the poles this has been going on for years, not necessarily for the their back garden ponds mate stocking up on club waters as well This is also very true, stolen Carp is big business, if anyone is mad enough to take a fish without a health check. Stolen fish if proven comes under the "section 1 theft act" although you'd be more likely for a result if they didn't have a rod licence. Chuck the polish c*nt in the lake the guy was english bud, but the poles are there everyday but dont catch much, leave the evidence and bbq in full view of the public. just hope they havent bagged scarface yet last time it was out at 28 i think you can't trust those English feckers . The truth is British waters are full of fish and our Eastern Europe friends can't believe there luck. Us as a nation don't eat many fresh water fish, maybe the odd trout but even then many don't like them. And as said it's true you are allowed to take fish from a lot of waters unless stated, especially rivers, as no one can really prove the origin of the fish. Quote Link to post
