baw 4,360
been threads about how much would you sell your dogs for recently. I'm wondering what's the price you've paid for your dogs and what age were they? I've only ever bought pups starting at £50 in the 's to £150 more recently. So, what did you pay and do you think the more money the better the quality? Quote Link to post

J.DOG 1,355
I paid nothing for My saluki x greyhound/lurcher of a mate he is a brindle dog with white socks and tipped tale. My mate could not handle the pups as he already had lots of dogs. You never know you could get lucky like I did Quote Link to post
BORDERSCOT 3,816
Cheapest lurcher was £30 and that was a long long time ago. Paid £ quid plus vat for collie geyhounds in the 80s. Paid £200 for collie grey pup in December and going to get another for the same price on Saturday from the same breeder. Paid £60 for a terrier dog and £50 for a bitch in the early 80s and never had to buy a terrier since. But have paid £750 way back in 1984 for a working collie and have also paid between £250/£500 for other collies in the last 30 years - sold some for similar prices. Price is no guarantee that the dog is going to be a goodun. I'm happy to pay £200 for a lurcher pup as I'll never need to ask how it's bred as I'll know exactly how it came to be? Working collies change hands for serous money nowadays - thousands!!! Mad eh??? Quote Link to post
