they are excellent little tykes, but like with any breed there's also a lot of crap out there, and to be honest more crap now than ever, but if you get the right sort from good old lines or from lads who genuinely work them you cant go far wrong.

No truer words spoken blackpack

unless buying a pup to bring on yourself mate always get a trial when purchasing a terrier or any hunting dog for that matter. You can soon get a pile of shit shoved up ya and believe me mate there are plenty out there that will do good luck with your surch for a terrier.

Are patterdales good little dogs they sure look good but just want some info from personal exsperiance and maybe some pictures

Yes, There are some great fells out there in circulation these days, but keep in mind, there are good and bad in every type mate. I simply admire the "worker" and judge every terrier as individuals according to their actions in the bush, regardless of the type, a worker is just that, a worker, regardless of color, type, coat, bloodline or what it cost you. Very true though, fells are my personal favorite for many reasons, and I have seen some very good looking fells as well as some that looked as if they were beat with an ugly stick, but, even the ugly ones become truly beautiful when they enter earth, find game, and stay till dug to or they do the job they were originally bred to do, EARTHWORK. It is a fact, if I could have my cake and eat it too I would like all my workers to be easy on the eyes, (who wouldnt want the total package looks and ability) but, I would rather keep ugly terriers that work than have lookers that wont work or that doesn't suit my needs. And last but not least, when you have made your decision to get a terrier, ALWAYS REMEMBER THE PRICE OF THE TERRIER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW HE/SHE PERFORMS IN THE BUSH. :nono::nono: AND STEER CLEAR OF ALL WEBSITE KENNELS. BUNCH OF PEDDLING WANKERS THEY ARE!!:yes: just my take. all the best in your quest to find the terrier that suits you and fills your needs and likes mate.
