As promised, here are photos of the mark 1 pouch, designed to be worn around the neck, a la man bag mode, this pouch is constructed from shotgun cartridge case material.

Question Could you make one out of rabbits skin

 

or is that a no can do

Suppose if you dried and treated the skin, put a liner on it, kept the fur on the outside, might be possible, use a rabbit tail as a zip pull too!

You can make anything you want out of rabbit skin, but it's very thin so it's a pain to cure it properly, and it needs a reinforcing liner to stop ot tearing.

Whilst traveling Australa, I see purses fo sale made from a kangaroos scrotum. The size and shape lent itself perfectly to the task.

Maybe a deer scrotum pellet pouch could be made in the same way.

Hmmmm, I might keep the scrotums of the next few deer I shoot, that's quite a cool idea!

i got given one of them kangaroo scrotum purses for christmas and used it as a pellet pouch- not bad at all.

 

only problem was it shrank in the cold but now the weathers changed i can get 3 times as many pellets in it...
