whats the best bass lures

im off surfing tonorrow but im gonna chuck the sea rods in, what are the best lures to use for bass, cheers lads let u know how i get on.

I never seem to go wrong with a dexters wedge,plenty of weight to them so you can get em right out there,great for bass mackerel and gar.

Definitely for Bass in my experience...I bought probably every lure under the sun at one time, but the Dexter always got results

Try the sandeel imatation from a company called Red Gill absolute killers they are

ill have to try one of those dexters next time i go, i did catch a garfish first time i caught one of those got hell of a set of nashers on them ill try n put a pic on cheers lads

try using a red gill with a bubble float.....6ft trace

the eel is just under the surface...had some brilliant takes using this method

the double jointed rapala in black/silver or blue/silver.

the yazuri plug in the sandeel colour iv found to be deadly but took them on on colours too.

also the toby salmon spinner in blue or black and silver are great when the bass are a bit further out on the tide.

try using a golfball with ahole drilled through it 60lb thread through it swivel either side then a 6-7 foot trace with a redgill type lure the golfball makes for great casting if you need it plus it bounces off obstructions {most of the time } creats a bit of turbalance attracting bass and of course live sand eel float fished or prawn are really good killer methods
