Depends on the cut really mate. A small, shallow cut would be ok with a salt water bath 3 times a day. Hydrogen peroxide poured over a cut kills off any infection. Purple spray is good stuff, so is cut n heal spray, paste or powder. Superglue is good for keeping wounds closed long enough for the healing process to begin.

What sort of cut?

How deep is it?

Where is it?

How did it happen?

A cut pad is a b*****d for opening up again mate! Salt water to clean it then purple spray. Superglue to keep it closed but be carefull of sticking toes to each other. Once the glues set wrap a bandage round it. Forget the hydrogen peroxide, i only use that on a fresh cut cos it will just undo any healing thats already taken place. Dont exercise him now for at least a week, you need to give the pad a chance to heal or it will just keep opening up. Garden for a crap 3 times a day is all he needs for a week.
