johnskevena 0
I was just wondering what are the laws regarding buying reloading equipment and primers and powders over in the Uk.Do you need to obtain a permit from the police there to purchase equipment or can anyone who holds a valid licence for a centrefire rifle purchase what they need? Just curious as reloading is meant to be legalised over here in the coming months but there will be a lot of conditions a person will have to satisfy before being granted a licence to reload and to be legally entitled to have in there possession the stuff you need and was just wondering what are the rules/laws you must satisfy before being able to reload in the Uk? Guest baldie
A man without license , can walk into a gunshop, and buy presses, dies, primers, powder, and match heads [not expanding] all without a ticket.Every single component and tool can be bought, without a ticket. bell24uk 0
there is a new law coming out shortly that you have to show your fac when buying primers but all other stuff like presses etc can be bought buy anybody Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
Yes, quite correct, its just come in, early april .You must now show a valid fac, for buying rifle/pistol primers, but you dont have to show a shotgun, or fac to buy shotgun primers. This was due to intervention by the BASC. Why did they not intervene on rifle primers? They can now shove my membership, so far up John Swift,s arse, he will have to sign it through his nostrils. They are a shower of shit, and only interested in the game shooters, f**k them, and the horse they rode in, on. SNAP SHOT 194
According to the laws their trying to take into effect here ,you would be cheaper buying the ammo, as by the time your finished meeting all the legislation requirements, you'll be out a fortune....... lets just say their looking for the equivlent of a nucler bunker to store the powder and primers...... you'llonly be allowed 100 primers, bullet heads, and a small ammount of powder.... Us poor sods, lets hope the NARGC. do the business, hopefully des and the gang can pull something out of the proverbial hat.... Quote Link to post

Ahh, shooting will only be for the rich in a year or two. Frank. Quote Link to post
