A nice salad sandwich with a fruit salad for desert is much better for the ferrets, this raw chicken is completely unnatural for carnivors such as ferrets and is only going to lead to problems further down the line.

 

And that's fact, it must be cos I've just decided to write it.

i feed mine chicken+duck mince all the time and it hasn't done them any harm. they also get rabbit, beef, eggs, and milk.

ma sister will be getting food for her snake on saturday and said the shop sells large rats for food,i was thinking of getting a couple as its something different for the ferrets to eat,just making sure theres no issues with ferrets eating rats?i reckon there wont be but thought id check first just incase,whole rat should be a decent meal right?

dont worry lad if its meat and its raw wang it. ya ferret might just leave the tail of the old gaddgies mate a couple of mine werent keen when they used to get em.
