Joe67 239
my mum sometimes works at the chinese delivering food, last nite she got a small bag of raw chicken off cuts for the ferrets.ive already fed them the best bits that are mostly chicken but theres a few bits 90%fat and 10% chicken,i was about to put this in the bin but thought id check here and see if you guys would feed it to your ferrets or just bin it.cheers Quote Link to post
ferret100 47
Depends on what you feed your ferrets in general. I'd say the cut offs are a reasonable mix of meat and fat suitable for the odd feed. Fresh raw chicken meat can irritate a ferrets stomach in large amounts/daily feeds, but if it's every now and again, I see no harm. Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
Ironic that 'Polecat' descends from the frenchh "Poule(t) Chat", meaning 'Fowl Cat', as the animal was famed for playing havoc with 'fowl' i.e chicken. 1 Quote Link to post

The one 8,503
Put it into them it will do them no harm they should be eating more than pure meat for a balanced diet .I feed chicken carcasses after the legs ,wings and breast have been removed .Then during the summer i minced it so i can feed a exact amount at night and they polish it off and theres nothing for the flies and i mince everything im not sitting picking off the fat etc LOL . Any fife boys wanting 13 kilo boxes of chicken carcasses pm . Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Chuck it in mate, it'll do your ferrets no harm. My ferrets eat nothing but raw chicken & bone most of the time. Quote Link to post
