chilly 59
Hi all, my pup is about 5 months now and I take her out twice a day in the morning and evening still quite short outings about 30 mins , was just wondering at what age you would start to increase her daily exercise and start building her strength and fitness Thanks Quote Link to post
baw 4,360
Hi all, my pup is about 5 months now and I take her out twice a day in the morning and evening still quite short outings about 30 mins , was just wondering at what age you would start to increase her daily exercise and start building her strength and fitness Thanks Good time of year for that age mate, will be coming into the right age come September etc. No rush with building strength mate, just keep doing what your doing. Once she is 9 month then you can step up her training etc but let her come on gradule like your doing. I take it she gets off the lead during these 30 minute outings? Amazing the energy they use running about. If you try to do too much too early you risk tendons coming away from the bone etc. You can teach them plenty without building up strength like jumping, retrieving, staying, etc.... plenty to get your teeth into.
