mangy1983 51
I had a mate who came up to my house to play with my games console when suddenly my memory card went missing. Under the pretence of helping me find my memory card he stole 3 £20 games of me and said that he had to go urgently. On the plus side he forgot his own £60 game which he had forgotten in his haste. He threatened to phone the cops on me to which l replied go for it and so his little ploy was countered. The downside was we had known each other all our lives, grew up together and had the same friends. Also 2 of the games he had stolen were mates that l had swapped my games with. He even had the gall to go to my mates and tell them that if they could get his game back for him that he would return theirs! I used to also take my console to youth club and it didn't even end there because although we attended different youth clubs he had managed to bribe one of my friends into stealing the game back for him to which one of them nearly did but l had spotted him doing it and stopped him. His younger siblings have poisoned the younger generations round my way who are their own ages against me but does not really bother me as l don't really socialise with them anyway. I was 16 at the time and not clued up on the law but on the plus side the mates that we both knew have now slowly come off the fence and taken my side against him cos he turned into a right weirdo in the end. So as for trusting someone again 12 years on and l still find it hard... cheers Callum Quote Link to post

rossi_j 99
Just say it's not a problem, ask him for the details and tell him that you will need to have a crime number to claim off your insurance, so if he could relay the details to the police when they call him, you would be most grateful. Now if he is an FAC holder, watch for the brown patches appear.John Thats thinking john If you were my mate and something happend to your stuff while it was in my possesion I would replace it, so to be able to produce the new item as I revealed what had happend to the lost/broken/stolen item and hope it had no centimental value .atb. .ste. That sounds familiar to me too.. When I had to give up my trade (plastering) I left all my kit with my brother on the premise it was given back gradually as he bought his own. 3 years later there's feck all left worth having that he hasn't trashed... I lent my lawnmower to a neighbour, it was put back quietly in my shed without a word. The next time I tried to use it - dead.. I pulled the neighbour up on it and she said it wasn't working when she borrowed it.. I took the plug apart to check the fuse, and it was full of tin foil. Quote Link to post
Caprelous 217
it was easy to take him to court because he abused my friendship, this nobhead even called a mate of mine to badmouth me and continued to pretend to be a friend for 4 months after that! He has many AKA and spouts his vomit on other sites, this one included, i wonder how admin feels about "name & shame" If hes on here then shame the get, then we will all know who it is. I am sure we all would appreciate the heads up then we are all aware of his antics. Regards Caprelous Quote Link to post
Caprelous 217
Caprelous did you enjoy your holiday? I and many other agree with you Sherrif should put a name and shame. I'd also be interested to know if the recipient of the court order has actually paid him yet. I did Doc went to the Scillies for a week then a few days in Cornwall nr Port Issac with my campervan it was windy but dry. thanks for asking anyhow. Kind Regards Caprelous I think Sherrif should put a name to the scum bag who tried to rip him off as well especially as if hes on here as he claims he wants shaming Quote Link to post
