scothunter 12,609
Tam, Rabbie Burns was a shite on the make an a Whoremaster ,He plagerised more than Plummer an if it wasn,t for the Brothers in Ayrshire paying to publish his works,we'ed never have heard of him,and as you know any Freemason getting something has to pay back with interest! Thats a lot of money this industy has produced, because that is all he was. A'm I to admire a Whoremaster and Shister due to a few words? Was he for Scotland when was going to bugger off to the Caribean to Boss Slaves about? Think not !! You would be better off reading Sorley Mclean. A bit like Wee Eck, Who's his Paymaster ? :secret: I much prefer the works of Robert Tannahill and Hugh Macdairmid as opposed to Burns, Burns was offered work in Jamaica on a slave plantation as a bookeeper because of his lack of success in farming and because he was in financial difficulty at the time there was little public awareness of the abolition movement which began about that time. Some of us have all had to do work we find offensive, I don't believe Burns took up the offer and carried out the work! despite originally accepting the post! As for being a whoremaster he did what many young men of time did! and still do to this very day "get pissed and shag everything in sight what's wrong with that? It was Edinburgh craft members who mainly financed the publishing of his works!! What interest did Burns pay to the lodge? Tom You finance something, you get the right to be reimbursed with interest,Led to believe it was an Ayrshire lodge that financed him.Who put him on a Pedestal,Wined and dinned him on his many Visitations? I believe he was Married while Shaggin ! Everything. P.S Tom ,Not !having a POP at Freemasonary everyone needs' a little light Shone on their path. Wee Eck and his Cronies arn't going to do me or You any favours,S.N.P. /Opus Dia any conections ?You Bet!!!their is. f*****g glad that was you and not me that mentioned that lol

spanj 11
maybe a proper poll would be to ask the English as to whether the scots should leave the union and pay their own way :whistling: If independence is won comments like this are irrelevant! we have asked for our own and more tax raising powers and more income from scottish produce that the UK government reaps the financial benefit from! Tom Tom I dont blame you for being proud of your roots but wake up man. How do you think the Scots could possibly pay for their own administration ????? Personally speaking I'd have cut you loose years ago and thats not meant as an insult. Devolved government seems to mean "wee eck" and his like make a load of bollocks decisions and the English taxpayer pays for em.

undisputed 1,664
is it not OPUS DEI the work of god Stand corrected ,But should that not read, the work of a wee guy from Germany who likes to make alot of money off Impoverished Believers.Speak to Your God directly, He won't mind and it will not cost you a penny. The connection to the S.N.P ,its, candidates for election. Who will they represent first the Scottish nation or Their belief system,I think the Jesuit Order tried the same thing, back in not to distant past. Only my Opinion might be wrong ? Every man should have an Equal say on how he is Govern'd Regardless his belief system, Still dont get what your trying to imply..Salmond's not catholic he's a Presbytarian or COS...I know he's been accused of sucking up to various religious leaders for votes...maybe you could enlighten further
Foxgun Tom 75
Not sure what the connection is with Opus Dei and Scottish Independance, Nationalists or Alex Salmond, its reckoned there's aprox 500 members of Opus Dei in the UK and the only member ever recorded in power was Ruth Kelly in Blair's government , by the way for the conspiracy theorists! Alex Salmond shared Sunday breakfast with Osama Bin Laden and Lord Lucan this morning and asked for their advice on the independance referendum! :whistling: Tom Ps: A quote from Salmond “I have a Presbyterian nature in that I like its ideas of individual responsibility and democracy. I’m naturally suspicious of people who wear religion heavily on their sleeves — that’s just not me and my style.” Edited May 8, 2011 by Foxgun Tom
