different fac certs ?

hi,

are they different types of fac certs?

i.e is it easier to get an fac air rifle than a centre fire or rim fire.

or is it soon as a rifle is over 12ftlb it is classed as a fac

any air rifle over 12ft pounds is fac. as to the calibres granted depends on you permission and the force concerned. if you permision says to shoot rabbits you wont get a centrefire. if it says to shoot fox as well then depandant on the acreage you will either be granted a 22 centrefire or 243 or something around that calibre. if your going to do a bit of deer stalking then you will need a bigger calibre but you might have to take on a mentor for a period of time.
