on my experience the fen hare is top notch because it gets run the most any hare that get run regulary are the best, only the best survive, all the top dog men go to fens to test there dogs because of the wide open land, but i,ve seen real good big ears on small land, reason for this they run regulary.

I found the same, some of the best spots I found and I live surrounded by the fens .On the A17 just past the Algarkirk roundabout the other side of the river on the left, the ground is soft and really tests your dogs stamina your dog will sink to its knees and the hare will skip across the top even on a good bit they fly I,v seen a few "good"dogs look less than average on there. The land opposite me is also good I have heard B Thompson say a few went on this land and could"nt put a bend in them I myself have seen dogs strait lined on land close to me around gosberton. The land around March produces some good runs also .I suppose every one has an opinions of what is good and what is,nt .If this area is so poor why is it all through the season I stop and chat with dog men from all over the uk within a mile of my house all say the same this area is the best to test a good dog.It could be none of them no what they are talking about or could they all be right .Some of these lads travel over 100 miles to this spot traveling past Grimsby to get here I,l leave it to you to make your own assumptions on which area is the best test of a dog.I have no interest in running you on land you obviously dont have permission to be on I also dont bet I keep myself to myself having spent time in the company of so called big name dog men you hold no interest for me and have nothing I have,nt seen before. With your £1000 you could go and put a down payment on a dog a like mine.
