mickyatch 37
Alright lads, i just thourght i would upload this post as the season is over and the posts seem to be gettin more dry and boring. This post is about me pup that ive had for 18 months now and is a borderx lakeland bitch she is 14 inch tts and is quite a lump of a bitch she is just about spannable ( then again i have small girly hands hahaha) and this was her first season out watching an that she was catching and killing rats and squirrels from about 9 months old and still does it regular she saw her first dig at about 13 months and let her have a look at the end and she got stuck in since then shes been on several digs watching dogs work and always goes mental on the couples wanting to be in. Whilst walking her right at the back end of the season i presumed we were in a spot where there was no earths low and behold she flew in with no collar to a rubbish tip. She was sounding away nicely for about 45 mins then came out ... she kept coming out and going in at different enterences ? In the end a quick phone call was had and a mate came with his russel and collar and a vixen bolted and a dog fox dug to this kinda got me worried as she wouldnt stay or maybe it wasnt the best place for a young og to start.... i keep in toutch with the lad who bred her who has her sister and he reconds that shes spewed twice and im now starting to worry about next season i think i really need to get her on as many digs as possible and then enter her in a real easy puppy spot any ideas...? She goes in places i check and its obvious there nowt there because she usually flies in but she goes through some of them and otheres doesnt even want to go in ? Also how was your first season for your pups did it go well or bad would like to here a tale or two atb atch Quote Link to post

FightTheBan 1,147
Was the russel you dug to called tannar? If so stick in with the lad who owns it because he is as genuine a digger as you will get and he knows the score and has a few handy dogs about him. I mind him telling us a similar story a few months back. PM if prefered. Dont mention names. FTB Quote Link to post
