leedetek 9
hi all , don t know what to do, came home from work today to find my bull cross lying next to a dead cat in my back garden !!!! so what you might think,. but 4 houses overlook my garden and i ve seen the owner of the cat looking very distressed looking for it. , and to make matters worse its one of them cross bred big stripey ones that cost a bloody fortune. anybody know where i stand legally about a cat wandering into my garden and not getting out, don t want to fall out with the neighbours but know i m going to get the blame anyway. trenchfoot 4,243
not sure legally, but I'd bury the beggar and keep stum. If anyone says 'owt, use the 12th commandment - deny it

TAXI DRIVER 549
Do the decent thing, under the cover of darkness place the cat behind the wheel of another neighbour`s car.You know it makes sense.
zigzag dan 784
If its come into your garden youve got no problem , my dad used to have an animal feeds shop , i lived in the house there and used to let the dogs run loose in the yard after he had shut , my bullxs killed loads that came in the yard , at one time i had over 20 collars ! Worst was when the owners used to come in all upset and ask to put a notice in the window about the missing cat !

nellandbran 8
It happen's, and what people don't know won't hurt them, don't say anything, because everytime a cat goes missing people will be looking at you, and cats are always going missing

whippet 99 2,613
good enough, how come cats have the right to roam where they want, if a dog gets out its the end of the world and the warden picks em up. you are in the right side of the law as long as the feline has come on to your property. if our dogs roamed others yards , people make it a big deal, but why are cats allowed where they want . stinking things
