Defo collie grey with a bit of bull. Not sure about whippet but maybe. By what youve said about its rate of growth and the pic of its knuckles i reckon 25 - 26 inches fully grown mate. Cracking lookin dog, you and your mates done a good job.

So, one evening about a couple of months ago, a friend of mine was passing through the wee car park in my local town/village, and found a wee pup that had been dumped and was running lose. After managing to catch her, she was in some state, covered in her own piss and shit, lots of fur loss, stained skin/coat and really scared. Hard to tell her age because of her condition, but she was obviously a young pup, maybe 3 months, and obviously had some running dog in her. His guess at the time was collie/grey.

He brought her up to clean her up and get some bits and bobs (he doesn't have any dogs), and i looked at her head and feet and said i was pretty sure she was at least collie/grey with a bit of bull, but maybe a lot more bull than a bit.

Vet said. . . . no no, collie/grey or whippet/grey.

Anyway, been looking after her for him on and off, and taking her out a bit, and my mate has done a great job putting her back together physically and mentally and i think she will be a decent wee dog.

Still not sure what is in her. . . . but it looks like i was right about the bull :whistling::laugh: Bit on the small side tho, something like 21/22 inch, but then age is something we are not sure of.

He popped up today and i managed to take a couple of not great photos with my phone

So any guesses on how much of what out of interest?

Collie/ Bull/ Whippet, and possibly Grey . I take my hat off to you for looking after the pup, it balances out the person who abandoned it . Well done, and fair play to you , and your mate.

Aye as far as i'm aware she still has her milkies, as big as they are

Cheers for all the kind comments.

I was f*****g raging when my mate first brought her round, she was in such a state. No idea who would treat like shit and then dump a pup so young, who hasn't had the chance to do anything wrong.

I'm just glad now that she has fallen on her feet, is well looked after and loved, and will even get to have a crack at a working life, but with no pressure

I do like a story with a happy ending.  Looking at her good tight feet I'd say there would be Collie in there somewhere, but who knows, I've seen Whippets with feet like cats. Though if there is Whippet in there it is hard to see. Maybe she's got all of the already mentioned breeds in her, who cares. She's a nice looking dog with a broad, intelligent head and she's got a good home, that's all that counts.

Sounds like we need to find her previous owner, cover him in piss and shit and then tie him up naked in the busiest pub car park we can find, preferably one witha gravel car park that is well used by the max power muppet brigade doing wheel spins....
