Ideation 8,216
So, one evening about a couple of months ago, a friend of mine was passing through the wee car park in my local town/village, and found a wee pup that had been dumped and was running lose. After managing to catch her, she was in some state, covered in her own piss and shit, lots of fur loss, stained skin/coat and really scared. Hard to tell her age because of her condition, but she was obviously a young pup, maybe 3 months, and obviously had some running dog in her. His guess at the time was collie/grey. He brought her up to clean her up and get some bits and bobs (he doesn't have any dogs), and i looked at her head and feet and said i was pretty sure she was at least collie/grey with a bit of bull, but maybe a lot more bull than a bit. Vet said. . . . no no, collie/grey or whippet/grey. Anyway, been looking after her for him on and off, and taking her out a bit, and my mate has done a great job putting her back together physically and mentally and i think she will be a decent wee dog. Still not sure what is in her. . . . but it looks like i was right about the bull Bit on the small side tho, something like 21/22 inch, but then age is something we are not sure of. He popped up today and i managed to take a couple of not great photos with my phone So any guesses on how much of what out of interest? Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
I was guessing the other way Collie/grey / bull/whippet. Definatly bull in her, when you look at her jaws, and her mannerisms, does the classic bull stretch out with the back legs when she lies down. She shows a bit of interest when out with the other dogs, in holes and scents, and got in on a ruck on a bird, accidently Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
nice little bitch whatever is in her good on your pal for taking her on hope he gets his reward She has fallen on her feet. He's never had a dog, but after hanging out with me, he fancied a lurcher, and she kind of fell into his life at the perfect time. She's been living on a diet of BARF, mainly venison, and he lives in barn he;s building in 50 acres of private woodland, and a few fields. All full of game. So hopefully she should get a good chance at life, and the best thing is, shes one of the few bull x's where the owner has no desperation to make perform, she'll get to do it all in her own time, and if all she manages is the odd bunny, i'm sure he will still be chuffed with her. And i'm fairly pleased i take her out any day / night i fancy, but don't need to feed or keep her Quote Link to post

Could well be mate, thing that threw me was the amount she grew from when she was found until now, and now her growing seems to have slowed. Couple of months ago, she was really looking like a wee pup, curl up in your lap kind of size. I guess we will know by the winter, as either way, she will be full grown by then. Quote Link to post
