Reccomend gun please?

Hello, im quite new to shooting but i like to go out looking for rabbits, the air rifle i have just now is old and heavy, can anyone recommend a new gun for me? i live in livingston (west lothian) and does anyone know of any gun shops near me? cheers.

If you are after a springer then you are best with:

Air arms tx200

Air arms prosport

 

All of these are amazing rifles and are around £350+ brand new, if this is too expensive then buy second hand, you wont regret it.

Weihrauch HW95, light and accurate. As for a gun shop, try livelines at armadale. It's not a bad little shop

if you're on a budget, go used and go for a springer.

 

Pretty much anything German or by Air Arms will be your safest bet. Just decide what siuts your needs best then narrow your choice down.

yeh i have an old air arms gun not sure what model it is. its getting fixed just now, ive heard the s410 is a good gun but might be a bit expensive for me just now, il do some checking around tho

and also my bsa out-performs my hunting partners 77 everytime, aybe cos im just the better hunter. i dont know????

Hmm I see. Well, I'm Saxon German by descent so, I shoot with the rifles of my ancestral homeland. If you care to match your BSA lightning XL, against myself and my HW77.., in some friendly competition, I'd like to see how your rifle performs in your hands. And I'll be delighted to show you how mine performs in mine. It's bang on a perfectly legal 11.44 ft/lbs at just under 180 metres per second muzzle velocity. Over-powered HW77s are at a distinct disadvantage. The rifle was not designed to be higher powered mega supergun; but a sweet, accurate, match target sporter.

A LEGAL HW 77 i something to see!! i do know how much quality oozes from them, just my lightning is a sexy motherfucker and i just cant seem to put it down!!

 

well after a bit of training from Der meister, im sure a young blood can keep up with Der alter mann hahaha
