My issues with horses is that they refuse to clean up after themselves. They can easy purchase a bag type device that catches all the droppings for sod all but don't.

When I lived in Newquay the riding school by the River used to get young girls on their own in their early teens to ride the horses back to the field at the end of the day. Problem was it was a main road and there was always only 1 young girl holding 10+ horses. I saw horses run off in front of cars on two occasions and didn't live near there for long so I imagine it happens regularly as they still allow kids to take them back to the field.

it a shame he lasted only 66 days starving and smeared in his own shite,he should have suffered a bit longer imo

Whats with all the IRA shit mate, its pretty f*****g offensive seeing as how they thought nothing of murdering women & children.   Just had to say, I wont be getting into a long winded argument

Don't want an argument. If your talking about the avatar lots of people have pictures or people they respect or admire, Bobby Sands happens to be somebody i admire and respect.   As for the quotes o

No animal that weighs a ton and spooks at a toffee wrapper can be right......and I have had a few of the f*****g things!

spot on  , not a horse person really, but when i was mid 20s went riding couple times. One day a dog chased a cat in the (next) field, my horse went crazy, ran nearly through the edge . It took all of my strength to hold the fecker back, and i was manual worker so i wasnt weak.!! When you see young girls on them, if there horses bolted they would be in the shit, very dangerous animals

That's not true, you get different strength bits for horses and you pull the one rain to pull the horses head round. Lots of ways to restrict horses, martingales etc. It's ignorance that people think the rider is powerless.

The difference with dangerous dogs and dangerous horses is that vets, people etc will pts a dangerous dog with almost no secong thought but for some reason they wont do the same with horses and they should imho.

In say, Germany, a dangerous horse would be done away with without question, not so good ol GB.

And from what I have noticed, most amature people who are around horses regularly become very casual around them when the reality is, one misplaced kick will kill a child or some grown ups no bother!!

Not a horse fan either and of course they are very unpredictable but any large animal that can kill you with a kick can't be trusted.

Here's hoping that the 4 I bet in the national are dog food by now..... Be as well they are no use for racing!!!.... Lol

So far, can't be trusted is winning. I have never spoken to a horse owner who doesn't know someone who has been kicked, or have seriously been hurt in some way. It just seems an inevitability that if you are around horses, you will get hurt. Imagine if everyones dogs bit them every now and again, or randomly went schizo on walks?
