jill having kits

well done mate just leave the jill to look after them now until there 3 weeks old then start piling the meat in for them they never stop eating just be careful not to leave meat in the cage too long in this hot weather and plenty of water for them to drink ATB DM :thumbs:

A jill will only kill her young if she doesnt trust you not to hurt them (if she sees you as a predator/threat rather than a friend) and even then she will warn you to stay away first with her body language. If she is constantly running in and out the nest when your about steer clear. Its all about bond, same as with dogs. Last litter i bred i went down the garden to see if she had dropped yet or not and as soon as i opened the cage door she grabed my hand and dragged it into the nest area to show me what she had done! :) If in any doubt at all though, stay well away.
