Here in Ireland, I am paying silly amounts of money for 20 rounds. It is as far as I Know illegal for me to make reloads. What are you paying for your box of 20? And what are you using/(Mainly Red's that i am getting)

I've been reloading for a while now but last time I bought some it cost me £42.50 for 20 Norma 140grn BTs!! That's about 47 Euro I think. At £2 a bang I got into rolling my own pretty sharpish.

i to was paying £43 for 20 round of federal 140g power shock....reloading now sooo cheap!

 

why cant you reload mate?

 

i'm now using 100g hornady, although prob a bit light for the mighty red's!

I have ordered 200 rounds of Prvi Partizan 156gr for £99 to pick up at the midland game fair in September ! Bargain!

Against the Law in republic of Ireland to re-load....apparantley. Any views on this would be helpfull

Ammo prices are spiraling out of control, this is a fact and has hit shotgun shells also.

Best quality factory is mad (RWS, norma, sako etc).

Put a new scope on the 7mm rem yesterday (RWS factory £52.20) a box, Luckily after bore sighting 2 shots to hit the bull, a couple to check at 200m's and a group to check all was well, managed to most of ground work with cheaper hand loads then checked zero with the RWS.

They were on the money so probably only £20 or so. I was lucky but practiced after that with the 6.5 and privvis @ £9 a box when I bought 300 sometime back. New ones are now £11 a box. Cannot hand load as cheap as that and they are a great (but slow) round
