rolysmate 49
i wont be to specific ,but there is some big fields in the east midlands before lincolnshire . some 2//and 3 hundred acres .. they run well the lads who run there dogs will know were i talk about Doesn"t happen to be a castle near by does there or am I thinking of a different place?? wouldnt be my first choice We were on there one day (back of the church)and had a couple of runs when we spotted a fox which of course we ran, we"d just nailed him when the keepers turned up. When they saw the fox they thanked us but said let us know next time you want to come after one of them and let us get on our way, thankfully they turned up 30 mins late lol. Had the head mounted as a momento. About 6 weeks later we picked a ticket up just up the road on what we called the riverside. Quote Link to post

boyo 1,398
when you think about it years ago people were still having matches and running hares when the saluki crosses were a rarity and you didnt see many about. and hardly anyone i know was going up the fens then but were still running most weeks and getting plenty of runs .mind you it was a lot easier then in lots of ways .
