scratchbat 0
just had a call from brother n law ...and we have just got some new permission in oxfordshire about 10 mile out of didcot or its called somthing like that...now this place is a big private place... ..i have never been to this part off the counrty ..and stopped just passed threw ..this place sounds like a gold mine ...the bloke who has give us permission is like a groundsman and horse man come stable boss ..or whatever..but anyway he said they are sick of the rabbits and asked if we can sort them out ...also if we do some ratting we have free range over the whole of the estate its not a shooting estate....just abig private estate..alive with game...i was just wondering if there is anybody from around that area who could tell me what speices of deer are round there and what the hare population is like as we are taking our guns aswell ..infact we have permission for everthing.. ....so any help would be good ...you never know you might get an invite once we have checked it out ....we are thinking of going on the last weekend of the month which is the 24 and the 25 ..the last weekend of the season for hare and deer...set off early friday afternoon get there have a look around the place maybe do abit off lamping for bunnies ....finnish early have a few beers ,,,and then the next day get the ratting out of the way bunnies .again in the afternoon ...and the for some serious lamping.. saturday night ..then some more ..and then sunday morning check a few earths if we can find any....so if there is anybody in that area abit of info on the deer and hares would be nice cheers..... where about in oxfordshire because i live near there and might be able to help???
