Guest world.hunters
me and rew decided to have a look around some new grounds with witton on saturday night. it was pissing it down all day but we still decided to go becuase anythink is better then nothink... we arrived at wittons at 11.30 and walked for about 30min to get to the land. we lamped a few fields on the way and had a run or 2, we got to the land and bramble was slipped on a rabbit she turned it a few times but the field was very muddy which didnt help and the rabbit mades its escape. as bramble was coming back out of pure luck there was 2 rabbits that were desturbed by her and they ran towards the middle of the field witton slipped his dog and put it a good effort with a few nice turned, to then pick up her reward with abit of help from witton  .... we made out way over a more fields and had a few more runs both dogs putting in a good effort but the rabbits knew where they we going. we walked back and we all almost lost shoes and wellitons in the thick mud as the rain continued and made conditions worse. the last field bramble was slipped on what was though to of been a squatter as she ran up and past it we relised it was only the reflection of the water and turned the lamp off. but she did not seem to come back so rew flicked light on and she was further up the hill not moving, we called her and looked again but still she stayed there... thinking the worse rew went to look followed by me and witton but it was not bad news and infact she had caught a rabbit with the lamp off probly due to the fact that the field was slightly lit up by the lights on the side of a road near by. although abit mixy he was still pleased with her and the rabbit was still warm. we then split up and me and rew walked towards home and witton lamped a few more fields where he also had another rabbit. heres a pic Quote Link to post

minion 29
shes a hancock 3/4 cross bearded collie grey I thinks she's a cracking looker. I like the beardie coat but went for a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 border collie as I thought it would be easier to get her cleaned up after a day / night out as mine lives indoors. Quote Link to post
