jasper65 6
has anyone read 'training the short-winged hawk'? what was it like? are there any better books regarding shortwings, preferably goshawks? I have a copy here gifted to me from Derry Argue a few years back. its got some interesting stuff in it I must admit, some of the older techniques still take some beating. thankfully most of it has been translated as originally it was shakespearian from the "Perfect Book". definitely a old school book worth a read, put it down and read it again a few times until you can remember chapters off by heart, some good chapters on the use of washed meat can still be of benefit today. other books is "A Hawk For The Bush - Jack Mavrogordato". The Art And Pratice Of Hawking - E B Michell". just another couple of old books worth a read Jasp Quote Link to post
