hey lads anyone know the name of a spray you can spray onto a terriers nose when he gets a puncture wound.

I had a tin years ago, you spray it on and it hardens over the cut. It like a plastic when it hardens. Any ideas?

i use purple sheeps foot spray its called something like gentian violet or something, stings like hell but stops infection

i remember using it before. You clean the wound and spray it on the wound, its a blue color or purplish color, after 10mins it hardens like glue on the area. When healing happens the new skin will break it apart leaving the wound healed. I was looking on line and the nearest i see to it is Blue-Kote or something called purple spray?

THE ABOVE IS AVAILABLE FROM CHEMIST SIMILAR TO PEVIDINE VERY GOOD FOR WOUNDS ETC YOU DONT GET THE HARSH STINGING LIKE WITH OTHER ANTISEPTIC WASHES, CUT AND HEAL IS A EXELLENT SPRAY WE USE ON HORSES AND HOUNDS ETC FARMWAY AND THE LIKES SELL IT REGARDS DABBER

aye its no bad it kinda crusts over. like a smooth plasticy surface. i always wash out the wound with warmish water and sea salt or savlon liquid. then dry it and use the gentian violet spray also known as purple spray its pretty cheap and you can pick it up in any farm shops or that
