blando 0
would any of you be interested in a decent well weighted digging spade my plan was to get the ex millatry or simular spades with the wooden handles for £10-20 and weld a heavy steel tube with a T bar on the top and spray them up to stop them rusting. il put some pics up later if anyone is interested does £30 seem like a good price inc p&p? let me know if you mite be interested and i will start getting some made up
amd50 0
Not meaning to poke you in the eye fella, but a good quality Bulldog steel shafted roundmouth is only fourteen quid from any builders merchants, a steel shafted graft is about twenty quid.
blando 0
yeh so mite not be worth it then, could mayby do them for £20 if i can find the heads cheeper
Hob&Jill 258
For £20 I would probably buy one mate, suppose about £30 with PnP? No promises though, as my current spade is doing ok but seems to be slightly coming loose where the wood meets the spade end bit. Its quite hard to find stell shafted spades with a T on the end.
