lapin2008 1,587 Posted April 30, 2011 Report Share Posted April 30, 2011 Hi All, As title says who off here had one of these pups and how are they coming on/any pics the breeding was deer/grey collie/grey X beddie/whippet collie grey which works out at 3/8ths gh 2/8ths collie 1/8th dh 1/8th beddie 1/8th whippet I took the little brindle/white dog one out of the litter. All basic training has gone and still is going well and he's picked stuff up really quickly. He is now 23 1/2tts now so should continue growing a little as is only 8 months Some pics from the past 2/3 months Cheers for looking Quote Link to post

jimster68 123 Posted April 30, 2011 Report Share Posted April 30, 2011 yep i got a pup of mat ,23 1/2 tts ,broken coated and very similar face to yours he was one of the mainly white pups with brindle patches hes a fairly thick set dog in build but he can turn ,hes mustard but im having a few teething problems (its my first pup )but apart from that hes coming on great knows basic commands ,travels well in car,decent recall, good with other dogs and terriers ,if i can iron out a few hiccups hes gonna make a great little dog ,i cant fault him for prey drive .will get a couple of pics up in a day or two (i dont know how and kids are away for a couple of days).theres a couple photos in some of my previous posts .i would love to see some pics of the black long haired pup(a bitch i think)as i tried to get it of mat but she had already been sold wonder how shes got on ? Hi mate, i know the one that you got i think it was my wife's favorite. I know the bitch you mean as well the one that looked the most deerhound esque. Regards training recall has always been pretty cool (although going through a cloth ears adolescent dog stage at the moment which has him coming back at a leisurly pace! Still need to work on jumping as needs to build confidence when jumping slighly higher stuff. retieving has always been pretty good although dead/live rabbits are still a bit too exciting to bring straight back at the mo, all the best with him some picks would be good when you can. cheers Quote Link to post

Pups looking good jimster68 thanks for the pics, looks to have a slightly stronger head on him then mine does but very similar in most other ways. jimster68 123 Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 i think matt only advertised on here and they sold quickly ,ive been rabbiting with matt over most of winter and i know people who bought them were still sending him pictures and letting him know how the pups were going on ,hes seen some local to him and people seem well pleased with them last i herd .
