vld 62
Just out of interest really. Kept a blue pup back out of my bitches litter . At about 9 weeks old she started loosing her colour and has now ended up a reddy/fawny colour. Doesn't bother me the colour thing really but just wondered what was the biggest change in colour you've seen and at what age would you expect the colour to be established so to speak? fieldsman 51
I,v registered dogs with the CC and had to write to them months later because the dog didn,t match the pedigree a bit embarrassing when it,s more than once. Some of them were blue when 6 weeks old but brindle when 3 months old. They all change a bit I now leave it a while just to make sure. Coney trappr - thanks for comments - I think she looked a blue/fawn colour at 8-9 weeks (when she was changing) she's gone darker than that again now. ALB Quote Link to post

Born Hunter 17,813
Not quite as dramatic a change as some; 8/9 weeks 12-18 months Everyone commented on the colour as a young pup and how distinct it was and then one day I noticed it had all gone! lol. Like I said not as dramatic as most but deffinately a colour change. Quote Link to post
