Ideation 8,216
http://www.holocaustresearchproject.org/einsatz/polbat101.html There is a bit of information about Reserve Police Battalion 101. There is a book called "Ordinary Men – Reserve Police Battalion 101 and the Final Solution in Poland" by Christopher R Browning And it is f*****g scary. All these things were done by very normal people, just like, me, or you.
scothunter 12,609
I've spent a lot of time traipsing around europe, into some pretty random places, and met a lot of people and spoken to a lot and heard too many stories. And i can tell you, in general most of the atrocities were WORSE than we thought, or at best, as bad as we feared. not saying for one min that there were not attrocities mate, quite the contrary in fact.there is evidence in abundance of SS death squads (einsatzgruppen) who recorded the deaths of thousands who were shot and thrown into mass graves.all im saying there is certainly aspects of what we were taught which is most defo open to debate.take the historian david irvings trial.the trial judge publicly stated on record,he was very suprised in the actual lack of evidence on gas chambers.he had been under the impression that there was an abudance of evidence.turned out there were very little and what there was came from some dubious people.abraham bomba being one.who in future trials was found to be in the pocket of the jewish lobby. I know what your saying buddy, some of it could be debated, but what chance do you reckon you have of that one? But personally i would accept fully that there were gas chambers, maybe not as many as said, but plenty. And anyway, there were enough different ways that they killed people, and enough people killed, that arguing whether one happened a lot or a bit, is kind of academic. Your debating the existence of quite so many gas chambers. He was denying the holocaust ever happened. Now MY biggest gripe is just that it is called 'THE holocaust', as if it was the only time its happened.

scothunter 12,609
the jewish word for holocaust is "to burn" yea jai thats my gripe.we are taught to question things from an early age and discuss and debate, but yet we are not allowed to question the holocaust.in some countrys you can be sent to jail for denying it happened.which in my opinion is so f*****g wrong on a number of levels.what got me questioning the validity of it,was when i learned in 1946 they erected a plaque at auschwitz stating to the 6million murdered here.in 980s it was changes to 2.5million and to date even the jewish lobby and historians will admit it was closer to a million.and yet we still get this 6million figure banded around.makes me question what else we were told.there was also a mass grave found in russia with close to 50,000 polish officers who had been shot by the russians.they tried balming the germans.was only recently when yeltsin allowed the document to be made public that they were shot on the orders of stallin.who in my opinion was a true mass murderer f**k he killied millions and millions of people.5million ukaranian farmers whos crops were siezed cause they wouldnt join his collective farm system.literally starved them to death. foxfan 479
Very very interesting debate and one that opens a whole can of worms, and which could lead to every thing thats going wrong in the world today. http://sixmillionmyth.blogspot.com/p/six-million-myth.html

Tomm Parr 30
What the SS did to the Jews/Gypsies/Slavs/disabled in WW2 was genocide and ought rightly be remembered. HOWEVER, the Japs killed just as many Chinese and SE Asians in WW2 in their camps and slaughters. HOWEVER the Russians killed MORE fellow Russians/Ukranians etc than the Germans and Japs did together! A shame that, of those 3 instances of horrific Genocide, the only one we remember is the one nearest to us geographically.

How about all the russian soldiers they got back from german POW camps and then immediatly sent to gulags in siberia so they could not spread any western ideas they had picked up in russia. f****d up world mate. I mentioned only the WW2 ones cos they happened at the same time. There have been plenty of occurances. Rwanda in 1994 was one of the worst. All we saw on tv news was the World Cup in USA despire the fact that in Africa nearly a million were killed within 4 months.

It must of been a pure nightmare. I saw a newsclip on Sky news live during that 'war' in Rwanda, a clip that was only ever shown once i think, before it was deleted from the schedule. In the clip the cameraman walked up a street full of dead bodies following a battle. However upon closer inspection they weren't bodies, they were pieces of bodies: Half bodies, torsos, arms, heads. Upon further inspection, they weren't even all men of fighting age and worst of all, they weren't even all human. The piles and scatters were a mixture of human and animal body parts all slung together with no distincion between man and beast. They behaved like savages in Rwanda during that 'war' and we all watched the world cup in America instead.
