JonathanKent 16
benelli every time, the action works on the recoil of the cartridge and not gases expelled from the shot. This means a Benelli action does not get filled up with crude like a gas action, this means better reliability and easier cleaning. A benelli is more expensive but a better bit of kit, its the old saying you get what you pay for! ATB Jonno Quote Link to post
whippeter69 88
Hia mate, i work in a gun shop and can tell you now, if you want reliability, quality and a fantastic gun BENELLI. You just can beat their technology inside the gun. No moving parts under the forearm, less to clean, cycles low gram carts and will shoot hundreds of thousands in a live time (some of the benelli's have been through 500,000 rounds and still going) Quote Link to post

mjr88 50
a couple experienced friends say that winchester are crap? Comments like this really do p..s me off In truth , your so called experienced friends have probably never even shot an SX3 , let alone owned one. Well i do own one , so here's my opinion. About a year ago i decided to join the ranks and buy my first semi auto. I had used many semi auto's over the years , but had never owned one myself. After explaining this to a mate at work , he told me that he had recently bought a brand new Benelli m2 Cammo 12 gage , and invited me out to do some pigeon shooting so i could try out his new gun. I had never used an inertia shotgun before and i wasn't at all impressed. The gun felt like it had much more recoil than the traditional gas driven guns , although i think that this was mainly due to the feel and noise of the inertia system doing it's job To cut to the point , i decided to buy the SX3 31/2'' magnum and i couldn't be happier. It has never let me down since i bought it and cycles all loads that i have tried. To my way of thinking , the only advantage of a inertia driven shotgun is the ( Lack Of Cleaning ) Although i'm sure that many will disagree. In no way , shape or form did my mates Bennelli outshoot my Sx3 and i saved about £350 as well. I hope you enjoy your new purchase and maybe post some pics when it arrives , John Quote Link to post
