Deerhound X Bull

I see alot of Bull X greyhounds but i was wondering if anyone has done a deer x bull. If not why not, is their a reason for using a greyhound insted of a deerhound.

A litter of pure Deerhounds are going to be worth a lot more than a litter of bull x`s out of the same bitch

greyhounds are quicker off the mark and as the name suggests, deerhounds were bred to chase deer, so with that in mind never needed to be exceptionally quick off the mark but have good stamina and endurance. i think a x between these breeds would be too slow and heavy. just my £.02

theres a story and picture of one in running dog adiction i think, if memory serves me right it was a bit of an animal on every thing including live stock, ill route it out to refresh my memory

better to stick with a staghound mate, rather then mess with the unclean(eg bull blood)

 

IMO you wont go wrong putting stag into a deerhound, some here say the staghound was like the deerhound in australia of old

there is a couple of deer hound, grey hound, x bull grey hound on my bushing photo which is on page 2 or 3 . there the 2 in the left hand picture either side of the gun.

do you mean bull x stag as in bull x dearhound or bull x stag as in bull x fox hound used for hunting dear

Tim what kind of bull is in the dog? How old is it? What do you run it on? I am thinking of getting a cat/bull bred to a stag for yotes. If it is not fast I will cross it to a stag again. Have you seen any like that?
